For over 30 years, Dr. Donald M. Tilghman has been providing his patients with exceptional oral care, with a special interest in dental implants. Highly educated and well trained, Dr. Tilghman studied at the University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University/Hospital, the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Medicine, and the University of Michigan/Hospital. He completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery from 1961 to 1965 and a residency in orthodontics in 1975.

Board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Tilghman knows it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of dentistry in order to offer his patients the most advanced treatments. Therefore, he holds memberships in many professional organizations, including:

In 2013 and 2015, Dr. Tilghman participated with Mission of Mercy as the Lead Surgeon for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He was also on the surgical team that separated the Binder Siamese Twins led by Dr. Ben Carson.
